I think every version other than the gamecube is at 30 FPS, while the GC one is at 60 FPS, in exchange all the non GC versions have a lot of extras, like costumes and mystic artes for all the characters (the original only had Lloyd, Collete ang Genis uing Mystic artes).Ībout the Phantasia connections, it has nothing about Dhaos but it sets the world for the events of Phantasia in other way.Īs I said, I really love Symphonia, but it may show some dated designs, like funky and very hard mini games to obtain some good weapons, a couple quests that require a guide spanning a sizeable chunk of the playthrough, a story that some would find a bit cliché, and some drawn out sections that can become tedious (the Ymmir fruit is the classic example), but I think the game still holds up when it comes to combat and the party members are very likeable, at least I think so, maybe Regal not so much if you make some math with his relationships.
